Summertime Dilly Bag Fabric Kit includes - 

• 24 x fat 32nds for star blocks/applique
• 50cm x 130cm Bunny Meadow by Heather Ross (for lining, base, drawstring casing and 1 side)
• 110cm x 5mm Green Strawberry (drawstrings)
• Our own Clover Shape paper template for optional quilting

You will need to use your own batting - this project is perfect for using offcuts and scraps!

"The Summertime Dilly Bag is a fun make combining machine piecing and needle turn appliqué. It is a useful and beautiful project perfect for corralling a project or for gifting to a crafty friend."

This kit includes a mix of 24 x fat 32nds, picked in colours to match our store sample - with lots of peachy oranges, pinks and contrasting greens/aquas. There is a good mix of low volume and contrasting prints.

 

The fabrics will not be exactly the same as Jen's sample (many are older prints from her stash!) but they have been picked to emulate her colour palette and vibe. Think lots of Ruby Star, Heather Ross and a good share of Liberty Tana Lawns. Supplement it with fabrics from your stash to make it extra special.

The bag has 4 sides - you may choose to do your 4th side as a fussy cut bunny panel as Jen has, or there should be enough in your colourful fat 32nds to make 4 Summertime Blocks. We have included a template to quilt your bunny panel side with a clover shape if you wish to make it like Jen has.

Please also note - Fat 36ths will vary in size depending on the fabric brand, bolt WOF and selvedge size.
