WAQA Progressive Quilt + Shopping Trail

Calico & Ivy is proud to be a sponsor of the 2025 WAQA Progressive Quilt and Shopping Trail!

How will it work?

Visit participating stores (online or in-store!) and receive each shop's special block with any purchase. You can then use these blocks to create a unique quilt which can be entered in to the Showing of the Quilts. A prize pool of $2,400 will be on offer across 5 different categories - depending on the variety and amount of blocks incorporated.

To make things easy, WAQA is planning 3 days of bus trips to visit participating shops - you can find further details on their website.

Pick up your $10 Information + Participation Booklet in store from any of the participating shops (that's us!) and you will be able to collect stickers from each store for each quilt block you collect. Booklets are limited to 200 total so get in early to avoid missing out. You do not have to be a WAQA member to participate - but you do need to have a participation booklet.

26th February - Participation booklets are available for purchase

Sat 29th March '25 - Shopping trail commences for 5 weeks - visit stores to collect blocks during this time!

Sat 3rd May 2025 - Shopping Trail concludes... Now is the time to start making your blocks, attend demonstrations and technique pop ups, design your quilt or find a suitable pattern that you love.
