Tickets are $139 per person, this includes 4 x 2 hour classes and the pattern, as well as tea/coffee + something sweet!

Lets learn to knit your first vanilla sock!
In this 4 week course, Daniela will teach you how to knit a cuff-down sock with fingering or 4 ply yarn - including the heel flap and gusset construction.
Week 1 - Finding your size and casting on.
Week 2 - Knitting the leg of the sock.
Week 3 - Knit heel turn, gusset + begin foot.
Week 4 - Complete foot + toe using Kitchener stitch technique.
Experience level - This class is suitable for people who have never knitted socks but are familiar with knitting in the round and the magic loop technique, and possibly have knitted at small gauge before. It is also suitable for knitters who have some experience with socks but want to learn a few extra tricks! Please email or call us if you would like to discuss suitability.
Pattern Provided
The pattern covered is the Melbourne Sock pattern by Kath Martin, which includes information about variations on cuff, heel and toe construction.

The class will be held Calico & Ivy in Swanbourne - just a hop skip and a jump from the Swanbourne Train Station, or you can find car parking behind our shop.
