This is my first time using peer gynt as it is difficult to find. I usually substitute with double sunday. Both knit up beautifully. The double sunday is softer.
Both work well for the petite knit November balaclava.

Peer Gynt has been produced since 1938 and is as popular as ever today. It is a favourite for sweater and cardigans. Garments made with Norwegian wool are light and warm and get softer with time. Norwegian wool is durable, pilling is low and has very good elasticity, which means that garments keep their shape and form well over time.
Peer Gynt is 100% Norwegian wool, non-superwashed. Peer Gynt Tweed is 75% Norwegian wool/25% Peruvian wool.
