Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino consists of 100% Merino wool in DK weight. The yarn has a beautiful and natural structure. It is a soft and delicious yarn, slightly less fine than our thin Merino.
Our merino wool comes from sheep bred in New Zealand, where mulesing is not practiced. The wool can be traced directly back to the farm it comes from. In this way, we know exactly which farm, farmers, and sheep made our wool.
