Thorpeness Hat & Lowestoft Cowl / Quail Studio Patterns

Together Lowestoft and Thorpeness make for a perfect winter pairing, both knitted in Chunky Wool. Thorpeness is a cabled beanie with a deep rib brim and finished with a fun pom pom. Lowestoft is a chunky garter stitch knit which uses two strands of Chunky Wool held together - great for frosty weather!

Thorpeness Hat:

You will need a cable needle and, if working in the round, a stitch marker.

Instructions are for making the hat either flat or in the round.

One Size - to fit an average woman's head. Approximate circumference 18" (45.5 cm)

If working in the round, you will also need a circular needle in sizes US 10.5 (6.5 mm) and US 10.75 (7mm) measuring 16” (40 cm)
You will also need a set of double pointed needles in size US 10.75 (7 mm)
