Isager Silk Mohair

ISAGER SILK MOHAIR is with its blend of 25% silk and 75% super kid mohair a beautiful, soft and shiny yarn with a light and fluffy structure. 

It is used primarily together with other yarns, but it is also beautiful used individually or held double.   A structured pattern will not show in this yarn, unless the Silk Mohair is knitted together with another smoother yarn.

As Silk Mohair is soft and fluffy, some shedding must be expected both while knitting and wearing the finished project.  The shedding will decrease over time, but please consider which garments are worn together with your silk mohair. Isager Silk Mohair is of the finest quality with long fibres which reduce shedding. 

Isager has attained Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) for their silk mohair which confirms the mohair is independently certified to animal and land welfare standards. Branding/ball bands are being phased in to reflect this across the colour range.  At present there is a mixture of stock with previous and new branding, please know that all mohair from Isager is the same beautiful quality.  We will always match dyelots and will notify you if this is not possible for your order.
