Workshop: Maiden Voyage Cowl

Duration: 3 hours.

Fee includes tuition, hand outs from Shelley and refreshments!

Join Shelley in this project workshop and bring the garden to your wardrobe. You’ll use a new granny square from Granny Square Garden to start on the making a kerchief-style cowl.

Skills needed: Beyond Beginners; Can read a pattern or chart. Familiar with most crochet stitches and techniques.

What to bring:

• 2 x 100 grams solid coloured 8 ply yarn of any fibre – 2 colours
• 5.5 mm or 6 mm hook
• scissors & yarn needle
• crochet stitch markers

All supplies are available to purchase at Calico & Ivy. 

Class is capped at 12.

Shelley is a crochet designer, author of twelve books, and the creative force behind Granny Square Circle. She’s passionate about making crochet feel easy, enjoyable and achievable, and her clever, practical designs have inspired a wonderful community of granny square lovers.

C&I Workshop Policy

• All workshops to be paid in full at the time of booking.
• Bookings can be made online, in-store or over the phone on (08) 9383 3794.
• Workshop fees will be refunded if workshop is cancelled by Calico & Ivy. 
• Tuition + travel fees for visiting teachers are paid upfront by us, as such no refunds for tickets will be possible - but you are welcome to transfer your class to a friend if you are unable to attend.
• Please remember that our space is also open as a retail shop and be mindful that our staff's attention will be shared with other customers and shop duties. Patience and courtesy is appreciated and a requirement from all class participants.
• Please do not attend workshops if you are ill/sick as this compromises the health of everybody else in the space and puts any of our immunocompromised customers/staff at risk.
