Merchant & Mills - The Joa Pattern UK XS-3XL

Joa is a simple, lined wrap top with ties at the side. Choose to make it quilted or not. Joa looks great in denim, layered cotton jacquard or quilted cottons. Wear it on its own, or layer it up in the colder months as a gilet.

This pattern includes instructions for quilting your own fabric, or you can use pre-quilted Indian cottons or layered cotton jacquards. It’s a quick and satisfying make and a simple introduction to quilting for beginners.

Seam allowance: 1.5cm unless otherwise stated

Fabric suggestions:
Pre-quilted fabric: quilted cotton jacquard and quilted cotton.
Creating your own quilted fabric: lightweight linen and cotton, cotton blends, lightweight denims up to 5oz. 100% cotton wadding is recommended.
Non-quilted: midweight cottons and denim.

If using Merchant & Mills pre-quilted Indian cotton (98cm usable width): for XS/S use the lay plan and quantity for M–L; for M–3XL add 20cm to the fabric requirements and use the lay plan as suggested.
