Maude Tee / Petite Knits Pattern

The Maude Tee is a seamless, top-down design: the collar is worked first in the round for a smooth finish on both sides, then the raglan yoke, body and sleeves follow. Button plackets are worked in double knitting and the neckline is shaped with short rows.

An advanced pattern using Judy's Magic Cast On, German short rows and double knitting. Designed with approximately 10cm of positive ease. Knitted with Sunday yarn held together with a mohair such as Isager Silk Mohair, Sandnes Tynn Silk Mohair or Canard Brushed Lace, plus 3 buttons.

Gauge: 21 sts x 28 rows per 10 x 10 cm (doubled yarn) on 4mm needles. Sizes XS–5XL. 

Needles:
Circular needles: 4 mm [US6] / 40 cm, 2 x 80 and/or 100 cm [16 inches, 2 x 32 and/or 40 inches] and 3 mm [US2½] / 80 or 100 cm [32 or 40 inches].
Double-pointed needles: 3 mm [US2½] (unless working the sleeves using the Magic Loop technique)
