Brand: Hillesvåg
Tinde is made from Norwegian Pelt wool. The sheep are very independent and low maintenance, and were bred by mixing Swedish Gotland and Norwegian Spel sheep. They are great mothers!
Peltwool sheep produce a yarn with beautiful and unique character. It is fine, soft and silky and produces knitted fabric with good drape. The mixture of dark fibres gives the yarn depth, and a melange effect when dyed.
Tinde yarn is a 2-ply, DK weight, soft and shiny carded yarn.
Approx. 260 m per 100g, 100% Norwegian wool.
Knitting tension: 22 stitches x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 4mm needles (stockinette stitch).
Supplied in skeins of 100g. The yarn is suitable for sweaters, cardigans, blankets, hats, mittens and other everyday garments.
