Hedgehog Fibres Kidsilk Lace

A beautiful blend of soft kid mohair and silk.  This yarn is a glowing pure silk core wrapped in soft fuzzy mohair halo, the ultimate lace yarn.

Colours shift beautifully from one to another. Randomly dyed to prevent striping or pooling, as much as possible.  Hedgehog yarns create a variegated effect that looks good in plain stockinette or advanced stitch motifs.

Because this laceweight yarn is often used on large needles for light, airy knits it is difficult to give a gauge, always follow your pattern and swatch before starting.

When held together with a solid strand it will give a beautiful halo and increase yarn weight/bulk.

Gentle hand wash and drying flat recommended.

Approx. 420m/50g. 70% Kid Mohair, 30% silk.

Hand-dyed in small batches in Cork, Ireland.  Dyelots may vary and colours can vary from skein to skein even within the same dyelot.  If you purchase more than one skein, we will do our best to match them up. Please be sure to buy enough for your project due to the colour variance between dyelots.  We use the highest quality images available to us, however colours may vary from one monitor to another.
