Cohana Magnetic Pin Holder

This beautiful ceramic pin holder is a collaboration between Cohana and expert craftsmen from the ceramics company Ishimaru Togei of Hasami. Hasami is a town in the Nagasaki Prefecture which has a 400 year long history of producing high quality ceramics, collectively known and referred to as Hasami ware.

This beautiful, spool-shaped pin holder has a strong magnet internally which can hold pins internally and be used to collect dropped pins using the outside magnetic pull, this beautiful sewing tool is a celebration of ancient pottery techniques and age old garment construction.
