Tomomi Minura  Mosaic Embroidery 

Tomomi Mimura is from the southern island of Okinawa and currently lives near Tokyo. She is an artist and a creator of mosaic darning-embroidery, a colourful technique Tomomi uses to create gorgeous and fun animal characters. Tomomi has written several books and teaches workshops around the world - spreading joy and delight with her charming animals wherever she travels!

We have been lucky enough to host Tomomi for a series of workshops at Calico & Ivy and the experience exceeded our expectations. Tomomi is a generous and kind teacher and a lovely person to be around!
