Mindful Mending - Alternate Tuesdays

Our lovely ray of sunshine Tobi hosts a Visible Mending focused stitching group every alternate Tuesday, from 1pm - 3pm.

Join our lovely social group of mindful menders - bring a beloved textile / garment that requires a bit of love and TLC and Tobi will have you stitching away on it in no time.

Tobi has a special interest in visible mending, both patching and darning - she has taught workshops across Perth and has a wonderful knowledge of the various creative techniques + stitches you can use to restore - and embellish - textiles. Follow Tobi on instagram @I.have.a.stitch to get a sense of what can be done to save your favourite garments from landfill.

Cost:  $25 per 2 hour session. Tea, coffee and a sweet treat is provided.

Bring:  Your current project and your stitching kit/bag. (A range of needles, threads, small embroidery scissors are a good start). If you are new to mending bring a knitted garment or swatch to use as your sampler. We can help you get started with supplies if you need!

Bookings:  Book online or pay on the day - this is a casual group so just come when you are able.

We do recommend pre-booking or calling to confirm for your first session so we can update you if there are any changes to the class. Then in your first session you can choose to join our group chat so you can be kept in the loop for future classes/cancellations.
