Kate in the Nest Workshops

We are delighted to be hosting Kate Cunich for her Perth workshops in March! Kate is an Australian textile artist based in the Southern Highlands of NSW. She delights in sharing her process of slow stitched textile collage in person and through her rapidly growing YouTube channel. "Kate in the Nest" workshops are designed to meet each participant "where they are at" so that they can explore the freeing process of creative 'play" with texture, colour, trims and treasures.

In each workshop, Kate generously shares her collection of vintage textiles, rescued embroideries and trims etc , many of which have been discovered on her travels. We are lucky enough to have Kate visiting Perth before she heads off to more workshops across the USA and Australasia, including a series of collaborative workshops with the lovely Fleur Woods in NSW + New Zealand.

We are so humbled that Kate has picked Calico & Ivy as the base for her Perth visit - thank you to her lovely fans who put her on to us!
