Made in Ireland, Tweedy yarn has been crafted by the talented team at Hedgehog Fibres.
50% of the content of this yarn is recycled from their own waste. Every single coloured thread piece has been lovingly collected by the HHF team to recycle into this yarn, they are saved from the snipped off ends of the hand-dyed skeins. All threads then go to the mill where they are re-carded, blended and spun into Tweedy! Soft and squishy, Tweedy is a yarn with bursts of colour that blooms beautifully after washing.
We think it's perfect for sweaters, cardigans and shawls.
