Foundation Paper Piecing with Jemima Flendt - Stars & Strips Pillows

Learn the basics of How-to Foundation Paper Piece, the tools and the techniques behind successfully achieving this skill. If you have wanted to try this technique, then this project is the perfect way to dive in and learn all that you need to become confident in Foundation Paper Piecing.

Choose from two designs (pictured) and spend the day with Jemima Flendt at Calico & Ivy.

Required for this class:

Sewing Machines required - with an Open Toe Foot and ¼in Foot

• Pattern - Stars and Stripes Workbook Edition
• Fabrics as per pattern requirements 
• Machine piecing thread
• Rotary cutter, ruler and small cutting mat 
•  Add a ¼ Ruler
• Seam Roller
• Binding Clips
• General sewing supplies (e.g. pins, unpicker, spare sewing needles – Universal size 80, small scissors) Backing and Bindings are not needed for class.

Pattterns, tools and notions and a huge range of fabric can be purchased in store, but we suggest you come in before the workshop date to purchase so that you maximise your class time with Jemima. We do not stock sewing machine fittings/feet.
