Devonia 4 ply by John Arbon Textiles

Devonia is a beautiful blend of three fleece wools, all from sheep local to Devon. Exmoor Blueface is used for its natural spring, Devon Bluefaced Leicester for its supersoft handle and its lustre, lastly the Devon Wensleydale for its fine fibre and its sheen.

Each shade in this range is inspired by the tapestry art of Jean Lurcat. Through its specialised production of using 5 different colour tops blended together the yarn has a unique depth of colour that is hard to beat. We love this yarn and we know you will too!

Composition: 50% Exmoor Blueface, 30% Bluefaced Leicester, 20% Wensleydale (100% Devon Wool).

Weight: Fingering weight, 4 ply

Length: approx. 388 metres per 100-gram skein

Needle size:  2.25 mm 

Crochet Hook Size: 2–3 mm 

Gauge:  24 – 28 stitches = 10 cm on 3 mm needles

Care: Hand wash at low temperature with a mild detergent, lay flat to dry in shade.
