The Bohin mechanical chalk pen is a great sewing tool, perfect for marking out those tricky cutting lines, drawing embroidery patterns or marking up your sewing points. 

Mechanical chalk pencil + 16 ultra-fine leads in 3 colours: 8 white, 4 blue, 4 pink 1.4mm. The chalk is a historic accessory of sewing and the clothing industry. The chalk pencil is indispensable for marking pattern lines: darts, placement of trouser and baggy (African) trouser pockets, frill placement and more. It enables us to demarcate the cutting and folding areas.

It’s easy handling will enable you to make very precise and more intent tracings that with a traditional tailor’s chalk. You can also sharpen the lead with a pencil sharpener and thus adapt the thickness of your line according to your markings. Always do a test on a piece of fabric to verify that the chalk rubs out normally.

A button with a removable lead is located at the upper end of the mechanical pencil whose holding mechanism changes the lead when it is pressed. 16 coloured leads ( 4 blue, 8 white, 4 pink) plus a special pencil sharpener for chalk are included. Assorted colours.

NOTE: Always test the chalk on a spare piece of your fabric to make sure the marks come off to your satisfaction. Mark fabric as lightly as possible for the easiest removal.
