Millpost is a NSW Southern Tablelands family farm who have been practising permaculture since 1979. They are one of the oldest broadscale permaculture farms in Australia, the family has been sheep on the land since 1922. The yarn is single source, coming entirely from the family farm. The crop is then sent to New Zealand to be processes and spun into yarn.
We know it is one of the softest yarns you will ever work with. A prime example of the incredible reputation that Australian Merino wool has, with this family showing an incredible approach to blending traditional and modern farming techniques to do the best they can for their animals, the land and the soil.
Also available it their 8ply range.
We love this yarn for the Fuyu Wrap and the Kojika Bonnet by Alison McCarney of Boris and Stasha, the Spur Hat by Hiromi Nagasawa and the Seli Sweater by Aleks Byrd.
