Cohana Tombo-Dama Sewing Pins

Sewing pins made with the traditional Tombo-Dama Glass technique.  Tombo-Dama translates to "dragonfly's eye" as the beads resemble the mysterious eyes of dragonflies.

Tomb-Dama beads are a traditional Japanese craft and are produced in a variety of colours and unique designs by master-craftsmen.

Cohana's Tombo-Dama pin heads are made using millefiori ("thousands of flowers" in Italian) - Glass rods with floral patterns inside.

Pins are manufactured in Hiroshima - a city with a 300 year history of needle and pin making.  rigorous quality control ensures consistent thickness, length and sharpness of pins, which easily pierce cloth.
